About:
As a child, Dr. Eckstein didn’t enjoy going to the dentist and often had to be “bribed” with a trip to Olive Garden after her appointments! Her opinion changed as a teen getting braces when she began seeing a dentist who explained each procedure, changing her perception and fear of the dentist. Today she strives to make each patients’ visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Dr. Eckstein understands each patient’s personality is unique and takes pride in getting to know her patients so she can create a unique experience and treatment plan while providing quality dental work. Her goals is for every patient to leave with increased confidence and a smile they love.
Dr. Eckstein is a Nebraska native and enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with family, her husband and cat, Athena. She also enjoys baking, hunting with her Dad, spending time on the family farm and cheering on her favorite football team, Nebraska Cornhuskers.

About:
Dr. Hamza Miari has always had a positive association with dentistry, recalling childhood visits where the strawberry fluoride foam was a favorite part. Though he never had braces or major dental work, it wasn’t until high school that dentistry came onto his radar. During graduation week, while reflecting on potential clinical careers, a routine dental visit turned into a pivotal moment. After sharing his uncertainty with his dentist, Dr. Williams invited him to shadow for the day. The patient interactions and focus on oral health sparked a deep interest that quickly grew into a calling.
Dr. Miari values dentistry for the meaningful relationships it builds with patients and the immediate, visible results it can provide. He loves that the field allows him to make a real difference, whether by restoring function or transforming a smile. His goal is to bring comfort and confidence to his patients and ensure they leave the chair with a genuine, beaming smile.
Originally from Lebanon, Dr. Miari immigrated to the U.S. in 2008 as a Palestinian refugee and has called Des Moines home ever since. He is fluent in Arabic and enjoys travel, cooking, movies, and exploring local cafes in his free time.
